454 Big Block's, "Your Jesus" was a discount bin
random pick up. At the time, I wasn't even sure what genre it would fall under,
but I went ahead and picked it up. I didn't listen to if for at least a decade
after I purchased if for one reason or another. Well, after such a long wait, I
gave it a spin. Turns out this is more or hardcore/thrash, with Nu-metal
attitude or Alternative metal as one might call it. The exact placement of this
album genre-wise is fishy, as it has hardcore elements to its sound and perhaps a hint of grunge? But hey, it was only two bucks and that's about what it's worth. The music on display isn't bad in the
sense of, I can't physically stand to listen to it, but it's just boring.
Boring is a big problem when it comes to music. I can't really recommend this,
but there were a couple decent songs, so it's not a complete dud.
