This Canadian outfit only released one full length and I
think the timing of this release was what doomed them. Labeled as thrash, this
album has heavy doses of hip-hop and alternative groove styles mixed
throughout. This album may have had a little more success had it been released
in the height of the NU-Metal era a few years later, but by 94, thrash was long
dead and Nu-Metal was in its earliest years of infancy. That being said,
overall, not my cup of tea. One interesting song was,"Welcome to the
Resurrection", as the chorus sounds like it could have been worked into
Fear Factory's "Soul of a New Machine"
Highlights: "S.E.D." "Welcome to the
Resurrection"
Rating: 1.5
